How To Update Fivem

  1. FiveM is a GTA5 Online Multiplayer alternative to playing on Rockstar p2p sessions.
  2. FiveM is still in pre-dev beta. So as of now, it is only a free roam open world without missions/heists, RP, or Money.
  3. You may use trainers and single player mods. This is how you will spawn vehicles, weapons, character skins, etc.
  4. Most .asi mods work well with fivem, but some will cause some issues. FiveM also supports .dll & .lua mods.
  5. FiveM does not touch your current GTA5 folder or settings at all, it runs from its own folder.
  6. You just install your mods to FiveM/plugins/ folder, and only basic mod config files are stored in the gta folder.
  7. This *WILL NOT* trigger any bans from Rockstar so no need to worry. Just be sure NOT to put your mods in the GTA Dir.
  8. It will crash from time to time as it is still in early development, but it only takes about 2 minutes to rejoin the session from restart. Nothing like Rockstars 10 minute load times (LOL). Oh and that micro stuttering and shootout lag? Forget about that ;)
  9. **PLEASE Do Not use troll/griefing mods on FiveM, this is a small & friendly community.**
  10. Most of these features will not work anyway. This is intentional to keep trolling to a minimum.

  13. How to install & setup FiveM (steam version):
  14. 1) Download FiveM & Trainer/Mods bundle (all mods are from gta5-mods.com) - https://www.sendspace.com/file/6n3i8v
  15. -FiveM Client
  16. -Enhanced Native Trainer 27
  17. -FOV Mod 1.3
  18. -LS Drift 1.2
  19. -Bodyguard Menu 1.7
  20. -Open Interiors 2
  21. 2) Extract the 'FiveM' folder from fivem.zip to your desktop.
  22. 3) Move the files from inside the folder '__put these files in your root gta dir__' into your root gta dir.
  23. -- you can delete the '__put these files in your root gta dir__' folder after you have done so
  24. 4) Run the FiveM.exe. It will download all the files you need to the FiveM folder, approx 1.5gb.
  25. 5) Make sure you are logged into steam at this point, this enables your social club to be logged in via FiveM.
  26. 5) Select your GTA5 Directory when prompted.

  28. ***FiveM will NOT modify your gta game files at all***
  29. 6) FiveM should launch at this point, loading into the log in screen. This is where it is important that you are logged in to steam, otherwise you will get a social club error.
  30. 7) You should be looking at your steam avatar on the screen. Click it to log in.
  31. 8) You should now see a list of servers to choose from.
  32. 9) When you load into a fivem session, you will fall under the map. This is normal, the server is loading the session. You will fall and then respawn on the street.
  33. 10) If you want to quit/change servers, you will need to end FiveM from the Task Manager. Ctrl+Alt+Del is your friend. (yay beta!)
  34. F# Key to launch / Numpad to navigate (5 = select 0 = back 4,8,6,2 = up/down/leftright 9,3 = speedboost/stop)
  35. F1 - Loads the FiveM trainer (this gives you basic five functions: hud with player blips & teleport to player options)
  36. F2 - Loads Enhanced Native Trainer 27 (this is where the bulk of all your options are: character skins / outfits, weapons, cars, advanced teleports, etc)
  37. F4 - n/a (most mod menu's default to F4, so i left this open)
  38. F5 - Enables/Disables Hydraulics (numpad 8, 5, 2, 4, 6)
  39. F7 - Loads Ambiance Menu
  40. F8 - Loads Bodyguard Menu (holding down F8 will toggle blips on the map for all available open interiors you cant normally explore)
  41. F9 - *THIS WILL LOAD FIVEM INTO A SINGLE PLAYER SESSION* careful not to push it unless you mean it! (it usually flat out crashes FiveM)
  42. F11 - Loads Teleport Menu 4 (has a bunch of teleport spots that ENT27 was lacking)
  43. *If you want to change any of the mod settings, these are the files to edit:
  44. -FiveM Trainer = fmt-config.xml (fivem root folder)
  45. -Enhanced Native Trainer 27 = ent-config.xml (fivem root folder)
  46. -Airbrake Mode = ent-config.xml (fivem root folder)
  47. -Hydraulics 2.1 = hydraulics.xml (gta5 root dir)
  48. -Ambiance 1.1 = Ambiance.ini (gta5 root dir)
  49. -Bodyguard Menu 1.7 = BodyguardMenu.ini (gta5 root dir)
  50. -Open Interiors 2 = OpenInteriors.ini (gta5 root dir)
